Help fight the Coronavirus (Covid-19) with your computer while stuck at home!

You can not escape from news and info about the Coronavirus. It is just everywhere.  Reports on the latest travel bans, schools being closed, washing hands instructions, and the limiting of public gathering. We have new terms like Social Distancing and Flattening the Curve – all in an effort to slow down the spread until a vaccine is produced.

This leaves us feeling vulnerable and helpless. However, there is something we can do to help. Instead of mass buying of toilet paper, we can actually help find a cure for the coronavirus with the tech we have right now.

I created a video based on a Tweet from Nvidia GeForce who asked all gamers to use their GPU to help fight against Covid-19.

For those who don’t know Nvidia is typically the company gamers turn when looking to install high powered graphics cards in their computers.  The Graphics Processing Unit or GPU is the chip inside the Graphic Card that does all the hard work of delivering amazing graphics – be it for gaming or streaming or watching movies.

So how does all this help fight Covid-19?
