Top Acer Gaming Gear at the Predator Experience Room
If “Seeing is believing” then I would add that “touching is experiencing”.
When new technology is released, we can see and understand that specs, but there is no better way to experience the tech then by physically touching and playing with it. When TheTechieGuy was invited to check out the Predator Experience Room, we sent our Clare Matthes to check it out. This is her report:
The Predator Gaming Power |
Acer and The Nexus recently aligned forces and launched an exclusive experience room, right in the heart of Randburg, Johannesburg, South Africa.
The purpose of this experience room is to give gamers first-hand knowledge of the latest gear in the Predator Gaming series and therefore, gamers can now touch and feel the latest tech in the Predator Experience Room.
The Predator Experience Room is filled with all the latest gaming gear from the Predator stable such as the Predator 17 X, G6 Desktop, Z35 Monitor, and the highly anticipated Predator 21 X gaming laptop fresh from its global launch at the CES trade show in Las Vegas. Therefore, those who did not make it to CES, can now take the award-winning Acer Predator 21 X for a test drive. What better way to experience the world’s first notebook that offers a curved 21-inch IPS display, 2560 x 1080 resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate?
“Being able to utilise The Nexus platform to introduce the Predator series to the public and all our gaming affiliates will contribute to our immersive product offering and the premium Acer experience,” says Paul Collins, Acer country manager.
Only open for five months, visitors will also be able to purchase some of the merchandise directly from The Nexus. In addition, The Nexus also boasts a LAN and eSports space, a play hall for board gaming and trading card gamies and The Nexus Café, serving up some of the best burgers in Johannesburg.
“The Nexus is a one of a kind social retail experience and we have been fortunate enough to have strong partners like Acer on board to assist us in the launch phase,” concludes Collins.
