After a long flight, all you want to do is get to your hotel, unpack and start exploring your vacation city. With various options such as bus, taxi, Uber, and train,  do you know which one is the cheapest and/ or fastest?

Before you reach for your phone to summon your on-demand driver, you might be surprised to discover that this might not be the most cost-effective method every single time.  Thanks to this infographic from Lastminute.com which looks at time and cost and compares various modes of transportation from major airports around the world, you can now make an informed decision.

When it comes to convenience, it used to be a lot simpler to summon an Uber or a Lyft at airports. Today, most airports have dedicated pickup spots which are not always so simple to get to. It is also worth noting that if you are traveling with a family or friend than the economies shift very quickly as with an Uber or Lyft you pay for the ride not per-person.

  1. Important to point out that these prices are for a single passenger. Uber is now typically the cheapest and most convenient method if you’re traveling with a family of 4 with luggage.
