The rollercoaster ride that is buying a home

Lets face it, buying a home can be an emotional rollercoaster ride.  You spend your weeks combing the real-estate sites just so you can spend weekends driving up and down neighbourhoods in what could only be described as someone casing the house for a robbery. You eventually find the perfect home and after looking at all the pros and cons, you call the estate agent to make an offer only to be told that someone already beat you to it.  Hunting starts again. After a while all the properties begin to look the same and you can no longer muster the energy to get out of the car to view one more “lovely and spacious double-story home” which turns out to be a cramped tool-shed on the roof.
