There is nothing worse than that heart-stopping involuntary-flinch you do when you drop your cell phone. Life stops around you as you carefully pick up your phone saying a small prayer as you do.

Some times you are lucky and that decent cover protected your phone baring minor scratches. Other times, as you turn over the phone you realise to your horror that you cracked your screen.

If you have insurance, Apple Care, Samsung ADH or Huawei Select you just have the inconvenience of having to hand your phone in for the screen to be repaired and good as new.

However, if you are not one of the lucky ones, you have to walk around with a cracked screen until you can afford (or justify to yourself) to repair the screen.
