18 Facebook searches you did not know existed
If you think the only method to find information online is via a search engine such as Google or Bing – you would be mistaken. While these might be the default-go-to methods, there is another powerful source of information that is right under our nose: Facebook.
Usually, we use the Facebook search facility to find a friend, however there many different types of searches that can be conducted on Facebook. What makes Facebook searches powerful is that not only are you getting the information you are looking for, but the information can be personal as it is from people you know – your friends.
Here are some of the not-so-well known 18 Facebook searches you did not know existed:
Searching for a specific Post
If you want to find that super funny/ useful post that you uploaded to Facebook way back when, then all you have to do is type in the search: Post by me and the word or phrase you would have used.
So if I am looking for a post where I spoke about Shark Tank, I would type this:
Looking for a post which your friends posted about a topic, then type:
Searching for Topics
If you want to find information about a specific topic such as the latest James Bond movie or a world event, then you can enter the following:
Narrow down the search about the topic so that if only shows you what your friends think about this topic:
Time-based searches
If you want to check out what you posted in a year (now this will kill hours of our life as you re-live those memories):

How to delete your Facebook Searches
Searches that you run are conveniently stored so you can run them again without retyping them. But if you want to delete any of the searches, simply click on the search and then on EDIT:
Click on Clear Searches
