What if I told you that you could have unlimited calls, texts, and Internet data on your phone for $40 per month? You’d probably say it’s too good to be true. Well, that’s what Verizon’s new wireless service Visible is all about. The service debuted in 2018 and is now looking to expand even further.
Let’s take a look at some of the specifics and see if it’s worth it for you:
How to get connected to Visible?
You are sent a little card in the mail. In this card are the SIM card and the SIM tool to place that SIM into your phone. You then download the Visible app, sign up and enter your payment info. You are then given 30 days of service.
You can supply your own phone or buy one from Visible’s shop where you can choose to finance it at 0% financing for 12, 18, or 24 months. You can buy it outright and add the Visible device protection too.
That’s it. Your phone will log onto the Visible network, you will see LTE on your phone and you are ready to go.
Coverage and Network
Visible is a service launched and owned by Verizon, so wherever there’s Verizon service, there will be Visible too. Seen as Verizon pretty much covers the entire country, this means you’ll be hard pressed to find a spot where Visible doesn’t work.
Visible runs on top of the 4G LTE network so you also get is also quite fast and has performed really well on speed tests and with all that unlimited data…
The service is only $40 per month. You can pay via credit card, PayPal, and Venmo. Payment is monthly so you won’t have to be locked into any annual contracts. The $40 fee includes unlimited calling, texting, and data.
But there is one “catch” you need to be aware of.
The maximum download speed offered by Visible is 5 Mbps. What does that mean? If you mainly use your phone to check social media, read news, and reply to emails then you’ll find Visible’s deal superb.
Here is the best part: you can still stream Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Instagram videos without any issues or lag or buffering!
So in summary
Verizon’s Visible plan offers a lot for $40/month. This is ideal for anyone who is perhaps visiting the US and needs to be connected but it is equally suited for those who want to have a firm grip on their monthly cellular expenses!
Now that you are connected, have you seen the new Facebook features launching soon?
