“Mind. Blown” this is how Mike Sievert, Chief Marketing Office for T-Mobile started his post in regards to the back and forth “blows” exchanged by T-Mobile and BlackBerry’s CEO John Chen.

In a nutshell, T-Mobile offered BlackBerry customers a deal to trade-in their BlackBerry phone for an iPhone.
BlackBerry didn’t like that at all and John Chen wrote a carefully worded but scathing post about the loyal BlackBerry fans and wondering why T-Mobile would do such a thing – [read the full post can be read here].
Mr. Chen ended his post by saying that:
Finally, to T-Mobile, I would like to remind you that our long-standing partnership was once productive and profitable for both BlackBerry and T-Mobile. I hope we can find a way forward that allows us to serve our shared customers once again. Notwithstanding the current challenge, we remain very excited about BlackBerry’s future.
It seems like this was heard by Mike Sievert, Chief Marketing Office for T-Mobile who has launched the Un-carrier + BlackBerry = One Sweet Deal” promotion which is a somewhat extended olive-branch to BlackBerry users and has made the following offer:
Bring in your old, working BlackBerry and we’ll give you $200 toward a new BlackBerry or any of our other state-of-the-art smartphones.
In addition, for those existing T-Mobile BlackBerry customers trading-in and choosing a new BlackBerry Q10 or Z10, we’re offering an ADDITIONAL $50 off the purchase price of that new BlackBerry.
there are also other incentives to change to T-Mobile if you are a BlackBerry with another provider.
