Qualcomm launches Snapdargon 200 and Snapdragon 400 processors

To get the most out of your mobile device it needs to have a serious brain that manages its power, battery, manages operations and balances connectivity. This is what Qualcomm processors do and do very well.

Adding to their range of processors, Qualcomm reveals their two new mobile processors which are aimed at the entry-level and mid-level smartphones and tablets.

Snapdragon 200

These are designed to deliver a balance of value and performance, including robust connectivity and better battery life for entry level smartphones.  They include the following features: a quad-core ARM Cortex-A5 CPU, Adreno 203 graphics, Dual Sim, CDMA and UMTS model options, HD video playback, Up to 8 Megapixel camera and GPS.

Snapdragon 400

These processors are designed to deliver the performance, connectivity and battery life that consumers expect in high volume smartphones and tablets, and include the following features: dual and quad-core configurations, Adreno 305 graphics, a model with a dual core Krait CPU running up to 1.7 GHz or an ARM Cortex-A7 quad core processor at up to 1.4 GHz. It support for all the key connectivity methods including TDSCDMA, DC-HSPA+ (42Mbps), 1x Advanced, W+G CDMA, and multi-SIM capabilities of Dual SIM, Dual Standby (DSDS) and Dual SIM, Dual Active (DSDA),

Rich multimedia capabilities like advanced camera features (up to 13.5MP), premium audio, and 1080p video capture and playback are all supported and support for Miracast™, a wireless display technology that streams content from your mobile device to an HDTV
