Fight Spammers with this AI BOT

Fight Spammers with this AI BOT

Have you ever received any SPAM in your email?

Of course you have. We all have. Every single day. Usually, we just mumble some curse words and hit the delete button and move on with the few remaining emails that are actually not SPAM.

Now there is another option beyond just the delete button – its Re:Scam.

Re:Scam is an AI bot that uses different human personas to respond to your Spammer and keep replying and wasting their time. It’s glorious!

To use the system, all you need to do is forward any SPAM to [email protected]. The bot will scan through the email and will reply to the scammer with further questions trying to elicit a reply. When a reply arrives, the bot will reply again and again and again until the Spammer gives up.

This is very much like Mashable’s James Veitch Scamalot series which is just comedic brilliance:

At the time of this post, over 80 000 emails have been sent to Spammers which collectively has resulted in 9 months, 10 days, 12 hours, 11 minutes and 50 seconds of wasted time (based on the average international typing speed).
