Every time I see a desk lamp I am reminded of Pixar; the company which produced amazing movies such as Cars, The Incredibles, Wall-E, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, and Monsters Inc. to name but a few.
To say that Pixar is great at telling stories is like saying that the internet is great for email – very understated!
Pixar has joined together with Khan Academy to offer various courses for wanna be film makers and these courses are completely free. Head over to Pixar in a Box and you will find everything from effects, to rigging, to sets, to animation.
