Pusha 2SIM

A significant percentage of mobile phone users in Africa carry multiple SIM cards to take advantage of the different pricing plans and network coverage on offer from the various operators. By allowing these users to automatically switch between two SIM cards without having to carry an additional handset or turn off the phone to swop out a SIM, Samsung is helping to meet a critical need in the market with DUOS technology which allows both SIM cards to be active and ‘always on’.

The Pusha 2SIM has been specifically been developed to meet the unique needs of consumers in the African market. This device supports GPRS dual band technology enabling  the user to connect to the internet, download podcasts and access social networking sites like Facebook, Mxit and Google Talk – for many consumers in this price category, for the first time. A 1000mAh battery, boasts an 11-hour talk time and 550 hours of standby time. The Dual-SIM ‘Always On’ functionality, ensures the user never miss a call. Couple this with the 1.8” TFT screen, MP3, and FM Radio, the Samsung Pusha 2SIM keeps you in touch wherever you go. Micro SD support offers additional storage for games and favourite music files.

“There is a perception that low-cost mobile phones are not reliable. Samsung is proud to say that our Pusha range of mobile phones is not only cost-effective, but it is also ultra-durable – and with great battery life the Samsung Pusha range is certainly designed with the South African consumer in mind,” concludes Fleischer.
