It started with a little Tweet :

hmmmm is it real or fake ? it seems to be real as its the official Wimpy Twitter account. So off I head off to the official Wimpy web site and I see:

wow  – a very cool promotion ! (pitty I dont eat bacon of get up that early…)

Its interesting to see how a 140 character Tweet spread all over the Tweet-a-spher and how many Retweets it received from influential people in the Twitter space which help gives it credibility and spread the message.

One Techie tip to add: next time include your own HASHTAG such as #wimpyfreebreakfast  this way you have better tracking and also might set a trend.
